He was conceived on a homestead close Utica, Nebraska and was brought up in a Methodist home. His Methodist encounters likewise included salvation at 16 years old or 17, and an unconstrained recuperating from significant lung issues two or after three years. Bosworth's life after that was one that took after Christian standards, however his congregation alliance changed a few times throughout the years. Quite a long while after his mending he went to Alexander Dowie's congregation in Zion City, Illinois, at that point came into Pentecost and went to Pentecostal administrations. He at that point began another congregation in Dallas, affiliating with the Alliance church once more, and his restoration gatherings in the 1920s were supported by the Christian and Missionary Alliance church. Amid the 1920s he was known for his "enormous tent recovery" and vast theater gatherings and his support of confidence recuperating, with individuals from all divisions going to. He was with the Alliance church until around 1934, at that point associated with them again in 1944. Beginning around 1930 he started one of the early effective gospel radio services.
