Description:

Gifts, brethren, I would not have you oblivious."  Later in this part, Paul includes that he doesn't need us to be  "dumb, misled, or uninformed" concerning the blessing services God  has set in the Church.  I'm persuaded that before you start to educate or consider the otherworldly  endowments illustrated in First Corinthians 12, you have to return to the  eleventh part, where Paul lays the preparation by instructing about  recognizing the Lord's Body.

All things considered, that is what you're doing when you study these two  parts: You're recognizing the endowments of the Spirit in the Body of Christ  just as the blessing services that God set in the Church. Acclaim God for  each sort of service!  Prophets, as you presumably know, are extraordinary. Some of the time they will  "camp" on one subject until the circumstance changes. At different occasions, they  will focus in on various things.

Regularly when lecturing I state to myself, "How could I get off on that  subject?" Then I'll get a letter that says, "I had an issue, and you  hit the nail directly on the head!"  That is my activity. As a prophet, I'm a "stump puller." obviously, stump  pullers don't get a lot of kudos for anything; they simply get everything out  of the "field." Later the other blessing services—witness, evangelist,  minister, instructor—tag along and till the ground, supporting the delicate  plans in God's nursery.
In the twelfth section of First Corinthians, Paul additionally alludes to you,  the regular Christian. All of you is set in the Church, the Body  of Christ, and all of you needs to perceive your part in the Body.
