Hubli for his BE (Civil) degree and moved on from Karnataka University, Dharwad in 1963 imparting initially rank to another competitor. That year he joined Karnataka Provincial Engineering College (by and by NITK) Surathkal, as an educator. He secured M.E.degree in Structural Engineering in 1967 from University of Roorkee, Roorkee (directly IIT Roorkee) under Technical Teachers Training Program and Ph.D. degree in 1977 from IIT Delhi under Quality Improvement Program. He served NITK in various limits like Head of Civil Engineering Department, Chairman, Center for Continuing Training, Chairman Central Computer Center and Dean (Administration). From November 2001 to November 2005, he served at SDM College of Engineering and Innovation, Dharwad. He at that point served RYMEC, Bellary as Principal upto September 2007. By and by he is acting as Emeritus Professor at KLE Technological University (Once in the past BVB College of Engineering and Technology). He has distributed 61 specialized
papers and 58 books. He has guided 76 understudies for M.Tech thesis and 6 understudies for Ph. D.
He was individual from sorting out/logical board of trustees of global classes
sorted out by IASS held at Taegue (South Korea) in 1990, Tokyo (Japan) in 1993 and Taipei (Taiwan) in 1997. He filled in as arranging board individual from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) New Delhi for the logbook years 1998, 1999 and 2000. He is individual from a few Indian and International expert bodies and a few specialized advisory groups selected by Government of Karnataka.
